Crews found a leaking gas line for a clothes dryer. This afternoon we responded to an odor of natural gas in a home on Amwell Road. Mini-Pumper 10 and Engine 36 extinguished a small brake fire on the truck. Coverage for additional calls were provided by Neshanic and Millstone Valley Fire CompaniesĮarlier in the morning we responded to a trash truck fire on Marshall Rd. Our Engine, Ladder and Deputy Chief Responded. Ventilation and salvage was performed as well. Crews removed burned materials and wet the area down. The fire had extended into the cabinets and above the ceiling. Crews stretched an attack hoseline and worked to open the walls and ceilings to check for fire extension. Upon arrival, FM10-E found smoke showing and a kitchen fire which had been mostly knocked down by occupants. Always assisting when we can! This afternoon we responded with the other district fire companies for a report of an oven fire on Craig Drive. ![]() Yesterday we stood by in station with a crew of 3 for our neighbors in Hillsborough.
